nomosshere: Good reporting by Byron York! “Are you a financial adviser? You may not know it, but you’ve got a green job. Are you a wholesale buyer? You’ve got a green job, too. Or maybe you’re a newspaper reporter. You, too, have a green job — at least according to the Obama administration.”

NYT correction:
“An article on Wednesday about the quarrels among President Obama’s national security advisers described in a new book by Bob Woodward referred incompletely to Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.’s reported assessment of Richard C. Holbrooke, the president’s special representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan. While Mr. Biden is indeed quoted as calling Mr. Holbrooke “the most egotistical bastard...

Yep. Check out the new MSNBC Tumblr, and of course the Washington Examiner on Tumblr anglobibliofile: Nice. But they both forgot The Economist, The Nation, PRI, Nightline, ABC News, and Yahoo News. Any others? When we decided to get into this game, we’ll admit we went to Gawker’s guide to old media Tumblrs as the starting place for our follow list. But here’s a few they missed: Public Radio...

Sound Familiar?
September 22, 2010 On the one hand, we have a candidate in Joe Sestak who is not a career politician.  Everybody has been talking about insiders in Washington.  Well, Joe is not one of the insiders who’s been part of the problem.  Instead, he’s been solving problems in Washington.  He didn’t go there with a liberal agenda or a conservative agenda.  He went to serve the people of...

Senate repeal of ban on gays in military falters →
A Senate bill to repeal the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy appeared headed for defeat Tuesday, a major setback for gay groups that saw the vote as their last chance this year to overturn the 17-year-old ban.

Facebook Like Button Count Inaccuracies →
2105: If you’re not a geek - here’s the bottom line of this post: The Facebook “like” buttons you see embedded on websites incorrectly report the number of “people” who “like” something. Specifically, the button can inflate the displayed count of people. While this is fine when all you want to do is track some general level of “engagement” with a particular item, it was not accurate for the...
